Mr Mtobeli January, CEO & Founder
Since 2002, Mr January has attended and gave inputs to international conferences on Doing Business in Africa such as New Partnership For Africa’s Development (NEPAD) and most notable a Southern African Developing Communities conference in 2007 organised by British Council, Department of Trade and Industry and Department of Education on growing entrepreneurship in Africa. He is a business accountant, researcher and a seasoned expert on business development, having won numerous awards in Western Cape in community development and invited in various initiatives with international linkages in quest of youth entrepreneurship and empowerment including presentation to German MBA students on township economy at UCT in 2015 and partnership with Netherlands Ministry, Job Realisation South Africa, Cape Chamber of Commerce & Industry, creating 666 opportunities between 2009 and 2012

Adv. Lionel Harper, Legal Services Lead
Adv Harper has 32 years experience in higher Education where he has served in senior academic and Managerial and Executive positions. He recently retired from CPUT in 2020 where he held a number of positions as the Special Assistant to the Vice - Chancellor , Manager for Legal Services , Acting Dean of Students and also as the Manager for Students Governance & Development.

Mr Simon Nkalitshana, Stakeholder Relations Lead
An expert in information technology, academic services supplier to schools in Eastern and Western Cape. He is also a director at Rosale Trading Pty Ltd, an IT technician building computer labs for department of education, with a degree in Strategic Investigation.

Mr Xolani Mbombela, Infrastructure & Built Environment Lead
An Architect, Property Development expert, and PhD Research Candidate. Lucius Xolani Mbombela is the founder of Lucius-X Architectural Designer an architectural firm which specializes in architectural service, project management, quality assurance, project assessments and research. He has vast experience in community projects, commercial and residential projects. He also offers advice to professionals on technical matters related to built environment as well as Traditional Kingship and Chieftaincy.

Ms Portia Motale, Marketing Executive Lead
An accredited Quality Management Systems (ISO 9000:2008), Marketing, Multi-Media Communications, Publishing and Project Management Specialist, having worked with international professionals in the implementation of the BRICS model on developing economies of Brazil, Russia, India, China and Southern Africa. She also has over 15 years in publishing - both mainstream and educational. Her last corporate venture was with Thebe Investments Corporation (HQ), as the groups Marketing head, and also part of its exco team.

Dr Spiwo Xapile, Associate Director
With a local, national and international reputation in leadership and human capital development, using Appreciative Inquiry and Narrative Therapy, Dr Spiwo Xapile works with individuals, families, communities (rural and urban), NGOs, Faith Based Organizations and business in re-authoring current narratives, and re- imagining the future by co-creating compelling images of what could be instead of putting all energy on problem saturated narratives. Emphasis is put on better descriptions of self based on preferred identities. He is the Director of The Platform for the Construction of Preferred Futures. Ms Ntombi van der Merwe, Associate Director
is a development finance specialist with 25 years in climate finance, innovation and funding for SMEs. She renders advice on innovation funding alternatives by assisting in the structuring of blended finance for transactions or entities that are considered risky to finance and is involved in promoting inclusive economic growth by facilitating the delivering of formal financial services to informal savings groups and ensuring their meaningful participation in financial decision making and product development through awareness programmes, training and skills development and introduction of technology and digitization. Has served on Advisory Board of Tshwane University of Technology and Task Team on Office of Public Protector in South Africa on Codes of Good Governance. She has done research on microfinance, access to finance inclusive of the banking sector as wells as on SMMEs in the SADC region

Mr Trevor Beeton, Associate Director
A sought after Business and Social Development Consultant, a specialist in Human and Political Geography and served as Chief Land Reform Project Manager for the National Department of Land Affairs. He also filled various Banking Executive roles such as Provincial Manager Black Economic Empowerment, Provincial Manager Public Sector, Provincial Manager Business Acquisition, Head Of Private Banking (PE); Head of Business Banking (PE Region) at Standard Bank, Eastern Cape Provincial Office in Port Elizabeth.
